It is hard to find faults in the design of the Hargett Pro shifter. The success of the Pro shifter has been demonstrated repeatedly in competition use in both the US and Europe, and continues to be referred to as the best upgrade available for the early Porsche 911.
But whilst a product in it's self might not require improvements, the environment in which it is used might benefit from some better though.
The mounting location of the Pro shifter renders access to the handbrake in its factory position very hard. Whilst still operational, the use of the handbrake becomes difficult and at times impractical. But not any more! In partnership with Steve Heath Engineering, CoolCava Racing are able to offer this handbrake extension.
Machined from aluminium and available in a selection of finishes, this extension will not only complete the look of the Hargett Pro shifter installation in your Porsche 911, it will make the handbrake still fully functional and easily accessible.
