Product Overview
The Porsche 935 is one of the most admired racing cars of it's time. Many try to recreate this magical car, or at least get close to the feeling you get from driving one. One of the significant changes that the factory did to the Porsche 935 was to change the suspension from a torsion bar configuration to coil-overs. this change also made it possible to change the rear spring plates to a lighter version.

In partnership with Experimental Prototyping, a precision engineering company in Sweden, CoolCava Racing have developed these rear spring plates based on the original Porsche design as used in the successful 935 racing cars.

These 935 style spring plates replace the factory ones when converting from torsion bar suspension to coil-overs, and are designed to fit all 911's (66-89), all 930's and 912's.

Installation Instructions
We assume that you have the required mechanical skills to install your new 935 rear spring plates in combination with a coil-over conversion, and have a good understanding of the Porsche 911 torsion bar suspension system. If you feel uncomfortable with the factory Porsche torsion bar suspension system or the supplied installation instructions, then we would strongly advice you get the work undertaken by a professionally trained Porsche specialist.

1.- Remove the existing spring rear spring plates and torsion bars.
2.- Install the supplied new 40mm thick bushing into the torsion tube. The bushing should have a tight fit, but should not require any force to install. If you are experiencing any resistance in installing the bushing, then please investigate the torsion tube for any obstacles or debris. We would strongly advice that you take the opportunity to clean out the torsion tube and smooth out the inside using a Dremel or similar tool if there are visible signs of rust or imperfections.
3.- Once the bushing is installed correctly with the hole at the highest position, line up the plate and ensure all holes and mounting points line up.
4.- Install the rod end and spring plate assembly.
5.- Using the existing factory spacers attach the assembly to the car with the supplied fasteners (50nm for the longer M16, and 30nm for the remaining bolts).

Note: we would recommend securing all fasteners with Loctite.
